Fireworks Officially Confirmed for Blackstone’s 250th USA Celebration!
It is official! Blackstone Fire Chief Kevin Roy has confirmed that the sky over Blackstone will light up in spectacular fashion for the United States Semiquincentennial. The massive fireworks display is locked in for Saturday, July 25th at 9:00 PM.
Should Mother Nature decide not to cooperate, a rain date has already been secured for Sunday, July 26th at 9:00 PM.
Where to Watch
The fireworks will take place at Blackstone-Millville Regional High School, located at 175 Lincoln Street, Blackstone, MA. The Semiquincentennial Committee advises grabbing your lawn chairs and blankets early to claim a good spot on the grounds!
Saturday Spotlight: A Packed Day from Sunup to Sundown
While the overall celebration spans multiple days—including a massive 4-day carnival and 3 days of live music, vendors, and food trucks—Saturday, July 25th is uniquely packed with events leading directly up to the fireworks.

- Morning: Kick off the day early with the community 5K run.
- 12:00 PM – 11:00 PM: The Carnival is open for a full day of rides, games, and midway fun.
- Live Music starting at 12:30 up to 9PM: Sentimental Fools, Getaway Rocks, and Northeast Groove
- All Day Long: Explore a vibrant marketplace of local vendors and community organizations, and grab dinner before the show from a fantastic lineup of food trucks.
